ABOUT ME 

I have been working in the yachting industry for over 25 years most of which as a sailing yacht captain based in Palma de Mallorca.

I started 1997 on traditional sailing ships, Schooners and square riggers, sailing with guests in the the North Sea, the Baltic and the Caribbean. In 2002 I moved to Mallorca and started working on luxury sailing yachts from 22 till 40 meters. The last years my focus has shifted from captain to maintenance and refit work. Over the years I have been involved in 5  major refits on three different sailing yachts in three different yards in Mallorca. All in all I have gained great amount of, hands on maintenance and technical experience as well as lots of experience in dealing with different companies involved in the yachting business, maintenance companies, yacht brokers, marinas, insurance companies and yacht suppliers.

I also have had the good fortune to have worked with yacht owners from different countries like, Norway, the UK, Holland and Germany, which gave me a broad range of different views and preferences.

These experiences will ensure that I can give you good practical advise when you are thinking of buying your new or second hand yacht.
